Vanessa Zamarripa grew up in a military family, experiencing life in various locations before settling in O'Fallon, Illinois, where she began her gymnastics journey at the age of 6. Her talent and dedication led her to Los Angeles, where she earned a full ride scholarship to UCLA and competed on the gymnastics team. Vanessa is a 2024 Hall of Fame inductee at UCLA, celebrated as one of the most accomplished gymnasts in the Bruins' history. She also represented the US National Team, won the NCAA Vault Championship, and played a pivotal role in securing UCLA's 105th NCAA National Championship title. In 2015, she was honored as a member of the Pac-12 All-Century Team, recognizing her as one of the top 16 gymnasts of the century. With over a decade of experience in the union as a stuntwoman, Vanessa has contributed to blockbuster films such as Transformers, Terminator, and Avatar 2. She has also received a finalist award as a writer for her pilot script, Zeda which centers on a stuntwoman. She is now making her mark as a director and producer, with her debut music video Pretty Please.
