NUDE is the coming-of-age story of a young woman reckoning with her loss of bodily autonomy in both physical and virtual spaces after her nudes are distributed amongst classmates without her consent.
Like many 15 year old girls, Hadley is beginning to explore her sexuality. When Hadley's crush asks her to send nude photos, she tentatively agrees to send them, hoping that by doing so she can gain his approval. Before long, the pictures begin circulating her high school. NUDE explores the harm and shame that digital sexual violence causes, especially on young women.

Sarah is an actor and filmmaker based in Los Angeles. She’s written and produced two award-winning short films, a three-episode web-series, a music video, a spec commercial for HOKA, and a staged show of a TV pilot that performed for sold-out audiences in Los Angeles. In 2021, Sarah was hired by a Golden Globe-winning production company (The Kids Are Alright, What Maisie Knew) to pen the first draft of a crime-drama feature based on a true story. Prior to directing NUDE, Sarah had co-directed one other short, which will also be screening at Lady Filmmakers this year! As an actor, Sarah can be seen in MAX’s TOKYO VICE. She has also starred in numerous award-winning shorts (Outfest, Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival, Palm Springs International Short Fest), and is currently in development on her own first feature. She is managed by Framework Entertainment.
