Dream Thanika Jenjesda is a Bangkok and LA-based director. Renowned for her passion and visionary storytelling, Dream defies conventional norms in her pursuit of cinematic excellence. After earning a BA in Film Production in Thailand and spending five successful years as a cinematographer in Bangkok, she embarked on her childhood dream of becoming a film director. Dream obtained an MFA from the esteemed University of Southern California, overcoming challenges as an Asian female artist in the United States. Seeking authenticity and personal growth, she returned to her hometown to rediscover her roots, motivated by a yearning to savor fleeting moments and find the profound truth that frees us from the repetitive patterns of societal expectations. Her return has infused her work with profound insight, and "Never Getting Rid of Me, Bitch" is her American film after this life change.
