Short FilmLaura A. Garcia is a director-producer based in Los Angeles, California. Garcia has an aptitude for finances, as she worked for the State of Maine Government Planning Office in Accounting after studying accounting for seven years throughout high school and college. After college, Garcia attended the Los Angeles Film School and discovered her passion for Post Production, majoring in Editing and Producing. Garcia has developed and cultivated an extensive list of industry contacts through her work with a variety of networks, including National Geographic, Speed, Fox, Animal Planet, Discovery, Travel Channel, Syfy, OWN, and TruTv. She’s currently a Co-Producer in post-production for Dick Wolf and NBC on Chicago Fire and Chicago PD, working closely with all aspects of the production and post-production process. Laundry Man is Garcia’s first time in the directing chair and she’s excited to see where her directing future will go.
Sara Cimino has produced unscripted shows such as Animal Planet’s “Whale Wars” and “Killer Outbreaks,” Rotten Tomato’s “21 Most Memorable Move Moments”, CNBC’s “SuperHeists”, NBC Sport’s “Shotgun”, and Discovery’s “The New York Post Presents: Off the Record”, “Mako Nation” and “Shark Tank meets Shark Week.” She graduated from Boston University in 2008 with a degree in Television and Film with a minor in Psychology, is a registered member of the Producers’ Guild and the Television Academy, and is currently an Associate Producer for Dick Wolf’s “ FBI: International” and “Law & Order”.
