Chorus Notes
Short FilmCasey de Fremery is an award-winning writer/director residing in LA. The son of a construction worker and a truck driver, he’s long been drawn to stories about people on the fringes, the bonds they form, and the nature of family. He was also raised on a mix of action films from James Cameron, quirkier fare from the Coen Bros, and cites Jurassic Park as the perfect movie. Casey started his directing career with music videos, commercials, and short films in the Bay Area for a variety of genres but action films are his passion. His short films “Chorus Notes” "The Needle" and “Avocado” have racked up many awards on the film festival circuit and debuted his first micro-budget feature film, “War Path.” “War Path” won Best Feature Film at the Golden State Film Festival and was released by High Octane Pictures in April 2021.
